  • The 2014 Spring Greens Fair


    Bigger, better, bursting with good things green, but still intimate and charming...the 2014 Spring Greens Fair is back this weekend, 3/4 May at the wonderful Court of Noke, Staunton on Arrow. Mid Wales Permaculture Network will be there, of course (perennial forest garden plants for sale and adopt-a-plant with free plants for children. This year there will be even more wonderful food, activities, forum discussions, demonstrations, crafts, performace... see it all here:

Community fruit growing talk with Rob Willis

Fruit growing and the community farm at Moel y Ci

Saturday, 11th February, 2012, 10am until noon

An informal talk led by Rob Willis, long term member of Moel y Ci and responsible for establishing their enterprising 3 acre mixed soft fruit field.

General experiences from community farming at Meol y Ci followed by some focused discussions on fruit growing:


  • What to plant and how to choose
  • Getting established
  • How and where to sell
  • Other ideas

We will use Underhill Farm to discuss ideas and putting Rob’s experience into practice.

If you have local products to sell (20% sales commission), please feel free to bring them along!.…..and of course enjoy cake and a drink from Kerry’s Kafe!
