Seedy Saturday in Carmarthen

8th March 2014 - 10am to 3pm

St. Peter's Hall, Knott Square, Carmarthen, SA 31 1PG

A chance for local gardeners to get together to swap their saved seeds & knowledge before the growing season gets underway. The idea is simple, just bring along some of your own seeds from your garden or allotment & take home something different. Whether it's vegetable, herb or flower, the seed swap table is the place to gather & exchange. No seeds, no problem - there will also be plenty of stalls promoting ethical & fairtrade issues & products. Tools for Self Reliance Cymru will be selling their range of quality reconditioned garden, green woodworking & miscellaneous old tools. New for 2014, there will be a few short skill-sharing demonstrations. Once again food will be provided by Carmarthen's Caffi Iechyd Da & entry is free (donations to cover costs welcome).
